Overview

This website is operated by Bido Watches ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting bido-watches.com or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service.

Products

We sell pre-owned and vintage watches, custom-built watches, and watch accessories. Every item is independently sourced and inspected for condition before listing, and is sold as described — each product page states the item's condition, what's included and, where known, its era. Where a product page lists specifications (movement, case size, materials, water resistance), they reflect what we have verified for that item; details a listing does not state have not been verified. Photos of pre-owned items show the actual item for sale.

Pre-owned and vintage watches carry no water-resistance promise unless the product page states a tested rating. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and can be affected by age, wear, impacts, and crown misuse.

Pricing and availability

All prices are in US dollars and exclude applicable taxes and shipping unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, modify prices, and limit quantities. If we cancel an order after payment, you receive a full refund.

Orders and payment

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where fraud is suspected or an error occurred in the listing.

You agree to provide current and accurate purchase and account information.

Shipping, returns, and warranty

Shipping terms are described in our Shipping Policy; returns in our Return and Refund Policy.

New watches are covered by a 12-month limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, as described on our Warranty page.

Pre-owned and vintage watches are sold as described and are not covered by that warranty — if a pre-owned piece isn't as described, the 15-day return policy applies instead.

Where the 12-month warranty does apply, it does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, unauthorized service, water exposure beyond the stated rating, or normal wear.

To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranties (including the implied warranty of merchantability) are limited in duration to that 12-month period where the warranty applies;

Some states do not allow such limitations, so this may not apply to you.

International orders

For orders shipped outside the United States, you are the importer of record. Import duties, taxes (such as VAT, GST or HST) and carrier brokerage fees are not included in our prices or shipping charges and are payable by you, normally to the carrier on delivery. We declare shipments truthfully at their actual value. Refused or unclaimed international packages are refunded minus shipping costs and any charges billed to us; duties and taxes are not refundable by us. Full terms are in our Shipping Policy. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, designs, logos, images — belongs to Bido Watches or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Third-party movement caliber names (e.g. movement designations) are used to identify components only.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bido Watches is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time by posting the revised version here. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
