Ships from the USA — orders leave within 1–2 business days

How long does shipping take?

Ready-to-ship watches leave our US location within 1–2 business days, with tracking on every order. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout (USPS and UPS), and orders of $249 or more ship free via USPS within the US. We also ship to Canada, the UK and the EU. See the shipping page for details.

Will I pay customs or import duties on an international order?

Possibly. Orders shipped outside the United States may be charged import duties, taxes (such as VAT or GST) and carrier brokerage fees by the destination country. These are not included in our prices or shipping costs, are set by your local authorities, and are paid by you — usually to the carrier on delivery. We declare every shipment truthfully at its actual value and can't mark orders as gifts. Full details, including what happens to refused packages, are in our shipping policy.

Are your watches genuine?

Yes. Every pre-owned and vintage watch we list is a genuine piece from the manufacturer named on the listing — never a replica. Custom builds are clearly labeled as custom, with the movement named, and are sold under the Bido Watches name.

What movement is in the watch?

Each listing names the maker and model. Where the movement is known — for example a Seiko NH35 in a custom build, or a tuning-fork Bulova Accutron — the listing says so. For pre-owned pieces we state only what we have verified.

Are you affiliated with the brands you sell?

No. Bido Watches is an independent retailer. We sell genuine pre-owned watches from the brands named on each listing, plus custom builds and accessories, but we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorized dealer of any watch or movement manufacturer.

Are your watches water resistant?

Pre-owned and vintage watches carry no water-resistance promise unless the product page states a tested rating — age and wear affect the seals. Treat a vintage watch as not water resistant until a watchmaker has pressure-tested it.

How do I know a watch will fit my wrist?

Where a listing states the case diameter, lug-to-lug length or thickness, compare it with a watch you already own — lug-to-lug matters most for fit. Our Journal has a guide to sizing a watch, and you can always ask us for a measurement before you buy.

Do pre-owned watches come with a warranty?

Pre-owned and vintage watches are sold as described, with no seller warranty. If a piece isn't as described, our 15-day return policy applies. Full terms are on the warranty and returns pages.

Can I return a watch?

Yes — items returned in the condition you received them, within 15 days of delivery, are refunded in full. Full terms are on the returns page.

Do you run sales?

We price honestly year-round rather than inflating prices to discount them later. When we do run a promotion it is genuine, and a compare-at price only ever appears when it reflects a real previous price.
