Quality Control
Pre-owned condition inspection (today)
The pre-owned line is what's live today. Each piece goes through a condition check before it's listed — if a check wasn't performed, we don't claim it was.
- Authenticity check — confirmed as a genuine piece from its stated manufacturer before listing; never a replica or homage.
- Condition grading — assessed and disclosed as-is (for example "Good," "Fair," or "For parts") — never rounded up.
- Included-items check — what actually ships (watch only, box, papers, extra links) is recorded and stated on the listing, not assumed.
- Function check, where verifiable — winding, setting and running state are noted; a watch we can't verify as running is listed as such, not claimed otherwise.
Coming: manufacturing QC for our own designs
Once our own-design line launches, every watch will pass a staged inspection before it ships, in order:
- Incoming inspection — every imported watch checked against spec on arrival, before it's cleared for sale.
- Fit and finish check — alignment, dial and hand set, crown and bezel function verified.
- Timing — timekeeping verified, on a timegrapher where the caliber supports it.
- Water resistance — tested only where a rating is published; untested watches carry a "pending" spec, not a number.
- Final visual — full inspection under light with a 360° photo set.
- Packing — two-point SKU and order match before sealing.
If a watch fails a stage
It does not ship. It is corrected and re-run through the failed stage, or pulled entirely. There is no "close enough" tier.
If something still goes wrong
Watches can fail after purchase — that is what the warranty is for. Reach us through the contact page and we aim to reply within one US business day.
